Lenovo-Legion Y720. Incredible Gaming Performance. Lay your claim and never give up an inch of your gaming arena with Y720's powerful 7th Gen Intel® Core™ processors. This laptop is your ideal rig, capable of meeting the most grueling of tasks head-on, from gaming to mobile graphic work such as video/3D rendering or graphic design. As for the awakening quest chain, ilvl 439 isn't particularly difficult to get, if you farm guardian legion X40 a day it would take at most just over a week to cover the raw gold and item exp requirements for it, doing solely guardian legion and no dungeons, assuming you have sufficient materials. (shitpost/circlejerk subreddit). Just FYI, selling your meta emblems for 999g per 10k is horribly inefficient for now.
I've made 4 deathwrack weapons and sold them, one for as low as 560k emblems, the other for as high as 1mil emblems. If you sold 1 million emblems you'd have 99.9k gold. If you made a deathwrack weapon with 1 million emblems, you can sell them for 250-350k gold which is a substantial profit. If RNG is in your favor, you can make two weapons with 1 million emblems. Clearly, the higher ilvl content you can clear means more emblems, which means that 439+ content is actually much more profitable than in your guide.Obviously, this price will go down as the market saturates, but that just means the price of darics/plates will go up, as more people seek to upgrade their stormcry.(I realize your guide is about half satire, but it's still worth thinking about.). Yeah that's why I had it in it's own section for only the most masochistic. I know people used to do it when the gold value was higher (like 2g 40s i think? Not sure) but no one really does it anymore.
I just put it in there because it's worth considering for players that are just trying to make gold and nothing else.i didn't put in crafting DW weapons with the tokens because I didn't even think about it. Tbh it's probably worth leaving out just because this is more for new(er) players and there's no way they'd have enough emblems to make a 15 DW weapons (unless they swiped to open boxes i guess). But yeah i see what you're saying that doing higher ilvl content would be more worth it solely for farming tokens to make DW, i just don't think it's a 'reliable' source of gold (mostly because it's rng to enchant and probably just a bad direction to send new players.)if i ever feel less lazy i might throw crafting DW weapons in there as an option with the details/risks outlined, but i don't want to halfass that cus i think it'll give less experienced players the wrong idea. The fastest ways of making gold all involve not enchanting anything. Enchanting is the fastest way to lose gold. I'll give you an example with your two characters:If you wanted to make gold efficiently, do 2 Ghillieglades on both characters to start.
Then, do 8 Ravenous Gorge & 8 Kalivan's Challenge on both characters. Next, do Guardian Legion x40 on both characters (you won't get a Vanguard because you already did x16, but this is the worst Vanguard so do this after you use for Vanguards to be more efficient). Not counting the Golden Talent drops you get, you will (at minimum) make:1.
4 Rubies from Ghillieglade + 160 Rubies from Guardian Legion = 16,400g2. 19,200g from Vanguards3.
You can sell any talents you got from RG/KC for extra gold.Total: 35,600g for two characters. Technically, it would be better to do, like, real Vanguards on your main (I'm assuming Zerk) because they give more rewards, they just take more time. As well, if you're trying to actually continue gearing your Zerk (not just make gold) then you'll want to do 439+ Vanguards (like RK9) to get enchanting materials/tokens as well. There are a lot of variables and you have to decide what works best for your goals. I just put the options out there for people to choose from. I recommend Frostmetal or higher for Guardian Legion because it will take a ridiculous amount of time for gear weaker than that.
It takes my low Stormcry characters (+3 Valk/+2 Warrior) around 30-45 minutes to complete 40, so I’d expect it to take around 60-90 minutes for Frostmetal, and even longer for Guardian. Of course, you could always do the Tuwangi mission, which is just a game of Simon and is not gear dependent.RG/KC are designed to be done in Guardian, so the average time there could be around 10-15 minutes for RG and 15-20 for KC assuming your party is in full Guardian with correct rolls, crystals, and rotations. This obviously isn’t the case most of the time (Guardian gear players tend to be new to the game so they often are not playing their classes optimally) and this can make the dungeons last longer.
This is why I recommend queuing with a friend who has a higher geared character/alt if you’re only in Guardian. For alts, you can’t go wrong with Valkyrie or Brawler. Both are very good at solo content (IoD) while Valkyrie tends to be better than Brawler at Guardian Legion (in my experience).
Brawler, however, has a very low skill floor so it can be super easy to pick up if you only want to play it to power through dailies. Valkyrie isn’t incredibly hard to play at an average level but definitely not as easy as Brawler in my opinion.
If you’re only worried about 412s (not IOD/Guardian Legion soloing) you could also try Archer, as it is the DPS class with the lowest skill floor so it’s very easy to pick up and play. It is considerably worse for soloing though without gear so keep that in mind.
