Not sure of the legality, but a few questions.1. Is there a reason refill unpacker, basically something that allows for you to get at the raw wave data within a refill? I have a bunch of refills (all purchased, a few free) and I want to use the waves to create my own multisamples for use with my hardware.I've searched for unpacker info, and was unlucky. Basically it seems as if its not real, or was and isn't available anymore(some versions supposedly were trojans).
Is it me or does this seem kinda like a rip off in terms of purchasing refills, since your paying for the sounds, shouldn't they be easily accessed. So far I've started to just export waves through the export loop function in reason, but I feel like this might compromise the sound of certain patches, might be wrong about this, but if it's passing through the reason interface, there must be something going on sonically. All I have to say is it took me an hour just to export one 50MB drum folder, but its worth it, just looking for a quicker method. At least this will save me some loot, in terms of wasting money on sample cds. Sounds of the Appocolypse and the orange xtension refills are worth all this trouble though.Anyone try this before? If this has any legal issues, mods go ahead and close this thread. My bad if soThanks.
Thanks for the reply,Yeah I am suprised it hasn't been created yet. I'm guessing the source code is just too complex.Real reason I wanted at the wave forms, was I wanted to up the capabilities of my fantom x, more specifically. I am still going to do it though, just by the export audio function on reason. Plus I would save money from buying the srx cards for the fantom x. I can't wait will prolly take me some time, but its all good. I've found how to get at the raw waves from within reason, and I've begun exported, one wave at a time (drums 4 at a time).

I've focusings on making multisamples for strings and natural sounds (something that falls alittle short on a stock fantomx and usually hypes up the motif es). Going to be using refills that include the proteus 2000, orange xtension(Waldorf Microwave samples 500mb packed), korg trinity, Reason's Orkestra, Reason Strings, and various others. In order to increase fidelty, I am simply going to run a few waves plugins or something. Nothing major, I just want the purest, and best sounding raw wave, then I have to set up loop points, and blah blah blah. Just woulda been easier with a simple refilll unpacker.
