Hmm, that's interesting. I managed to install the drivers sucessfully for two different versions of these sticks (the 25241 and a 28057).
I expect you have tried the following but I've written step by step what I did to get them to work - in any case it may be useful reference for other users:)Choosing DriversI checked the link you gave but it was different to the link I'd bookmarked previously for the drivers which is this one:There were 3 drivers on the above not just 2. First off double check if it's a hybrid stick (these have analogue support & DVB-T - usally has hybrid written on the stick) or one simply labelled Freecom USB DVB-T and choose the appropriate driver.
Also, you didn't mention if your using x32 or x64 Windows 7 which is important. The hybrid stick won't work with x64 (Vista or 7). In any case, I expect it's the bottom one 00010626.zip you will need.Installation MethodThe installation of these drivers is sometimes tricky - especially if Windows tried to install some generic driver!I would try installing the stick from another USB port in the following way:1. Extract the driver files to the desktop in a named folder.2. Open Device Manager (the traditional one - not the device stage thing!)3.
Insert the TV stick.4. Device manager should refresh.
As soon as the device shows up, right click and select update driver, use the 'browse my computer for.' Option and select the folder on the desktop (select search in sub folders) and click next. Accept the warning about unsigned drivers - Freecom drivers for these sticks are unsigned. Hopefully it will install.5. If any other icon/notification pops up propting for a drivers e.g.
From the tray, ignore and close. These sticks really do not like the drivers Windows thinks will work!If it still fails, note down the failure message e.g. Cannot find driver in specified location etc in fill - it may help work out the problem. If that fails.Try uninstalling the drivers in device manager by right clicking and selecting uninstall. High tide band. Tick 'delete driver software' and confirm.
You usually have to reboot. Then try the install again using the above steps.Finally.Try looking at some of the information on this site:Now I have never had to do some of the things they suggest but if you still struggle, you may find some helpful tips on that site.Vista Media Center vs. Total MediaI have only ever managed to get Vista Media Center to work properly with the sticks. With Total Media Center, which is certified for Vista, I have never had any sucess although IMO Vista Media Center is probably better anyways so I never spent too much time trying. Hopefully if the drivers install correctly, then you'll get all the channels you expect. My that's got quite lengthy - hope it helps! Hmm, that's interesting. Sound quality is best when the speakers are placed directly opposite your ear canal. Verify that the speakers are correctly placed inside your helmet by following the next steps.1. With the helmet on, slide your finger inside the helmet and press against the side of the helmet where your ear is.
This is where the speakers should be positioned.2. Remove the helmet, but keep your finger in that spot.
Check to make sure the speakers are in this position.3. Make sure the speakers are positioned as close to your ear as possible so you can feel them. If necessary, use the included Velcro booster pads behind the speakers to get them closer to your ear.4. Since every head is different, you may find that your helmet ear cavities are not placed optimally.
If this is the case consider placing the speakers outside your helmet ear cavities right opposite your ears.
