Updated version of the PS2 SPU2 plugin packaged with PCSX2 0.9.8. SPU2-X has support for PS2 reverb effects and is currently the most volume/pitch accurate sound plugin. It also increases compatibility of many games, some will not boot without it. Known Issues:. May be slower than other SPU2 plugins on low-end PCs. Hello!I downloaded the PCSX2 0.9.6, and a game's.ISO (The Sims 2). All was working fine, I was very happy (I had a PS2 a few years ago, and I loved this game) for the quickly and fine running. But after the loading screens, I wanted to start a new game, and when I clicked on the 'Start new game One Player', the game crashed. Without any error messages. I'm very sad Please, help!-Windows XP-Graphics: GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14-Sounds: P.E.Op.S SPU2 1.9.0-First controller: LilyPad 0.10.0-Second Controller: SSPSX PAD Plugin Pressure Mod 1.7.0-Cdvdrom: Gigaherz's CDVD Plugin 0.7.0-Dev9: Dev9null Driver 0.3.0-Usb: USBnull Driver 0.5.0-Firewire: FWnull Driver 0.4.0-BIOS: Europe v02.00 ConsoleAnd Here is the video of the crashing.

^^You gotta remember there's ivy cpu's that don't have avx2, broadwell was a downgrade in some senses so., and crappy amd cpu's don't have avx2 yet either (unless you talk junk fmx sockets). Yes it is serious. And you seriously didn't understand this commit. it impacts the default build on Windows. It doesn't remove any optimization on GSdx. It remove the useless build target.
The SW renderer will use the best available ISA automatically (except the AVX2 case). So even a SSE2 build with use SSE4/AVX code on recent machine. On Linux, you have 3 default build. SSE2/SSE4/AVX2 when you disable SSE optimization. Otherwise a self build with be optimized for your CPU directly. On HW renderer, DX9 is less accurate so faster. If you use a bad driver, wine could be faster because it adds a multithread GL dispatcher.
(Nvidia already have one, and we are waiting that Mesa adds (merge) it).
